SunBurn Framework adds base lighting and rendering to XNA projects and is now available for free when you join the community. It doesn't look like it offers anything near what the SunBurn Engine offers, but if it helps someone....

Although I don't mess around with XNA projects, the idea to have some better lighting in my scenes sounds like a good idea :3
