8-)

To Follow up with the threads about accepting entries. My objective is to have all of the entries ready to be viewed by Friday noon (3/6). When submitting the work make sure you include a README.TXT file that list who is submitting the work, which category it is for and contact information. For students not from the area or enrolled at ITT-GB I am Making the recommendation that they arrive by 8am Saturday to submit their work if they want it judged.

This is more in relation to next years gamefair than the last one, I just didn't feel like making a new thread.

So, if I started working on a project right now, it would be eligible for the 2010 game fair, yes?

Also, if the low poly and high poly model categories return for this years game fair, what constitutes as a high and low poly model?( If I missed this somewhere I apologize)

Thanks in advance.

Oh, I was thinking not on the program used, but based more on poly count. Like low poly is 1-5k polys, high poly is some number to some number.

high poly/low poly is kind of relative as well.

basically, low poly is generally anything made in Max only. High poly is any model detailed in Zbrush/Mudvox.

You may be able to do a 100k poly model in Max, but it would be really painful :) If you want a number though, I believe they have been using ~10k as the rough split between high and low.

I think opening it up to more schools in Wisconsin would be fun. and make it more of a challenge
